Kim Ross was born in St. Louis , MO where she started to explore her passion for movement. It began as an escape. An escape that gradually grew into a relationship that changed her life. Kim was drawn to the storytelling and the way art, the greatest art, always reflected the human experience in the most honest ways. Kim says "The studio is my workplace and the stage is my home. In these places, I have the freedom to explore my body, mind and soul. And in that freedom I found my voice. It is the medium that I translate life through; where I work out my confusion, my angst, and revel in my joy! Through movement and performance I find the answers that escape me and the truths I have not faced. "

Kim went on to earn her B.F.A  at the renowned New World School of the Arts, Conservatory, in Miami, FL.  Under the direction of Daniel Lewis, Kim received training in Ballet, Horton, Graham, Limon, Musical Theatre, and Hip Hop Styles. 

Since moving to NYC Kim has had the pleasure of a diverse career spanning from contemporary company work, musical theatre, touring and print modeling. As well as a commercial dancer on large scale events for numerous companies such as, ’BET’, IheartRadio, Car Gurus and 'Benefit Cosmetics'.  In addition to touring, performing in the off-broadway production of Ephemera and touring the seas as a featured dancer with Royal Caribbean International, Kim is featured in the CarGurus national print campaign.
Most recently you can see Kim playing a chemist in the immersive production of 'Radium Girls'.
Sharing her art with the collective, through storytelling is Kim’s passion and purpose.
